Eddie Cahill (born January 15, 1978) portrayed Tag Jones, Rachel's attractive assistant at Ralph Lauren Corporation in seasons 7 and 8.

Edmund Patrick "Eddie" Cahill is an American actor. He is known for having appearances in many films and on television, including Miracle (2004) and CSI: NY (2004-2013).

Early Life[]

Cahill was born in New York City, New York. He is the middle of three children, with an older and a younger sister. His mother, an elementary school teacher, is of Italian descent and his father, a stockbroker, is of Irish descent.

In 1996, Cahill graduated from high school and attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. Later, he attended the Atlantic Theater Acting School, which is an undergraduate program of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.

Career[]

In 2000, Cahill preformed in an off-broadway production of Nicky Silver's The Altruists, and was noticed by Sarah Jessica Parker. Shortly after, he made many guest television appearances, including Friends, Sex and the City, Felicity, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2002, he starred in a short-lived WB drama, Glory Days (also titled Demontown).

In 2004, Cahill was hired to play Detective Don Flack, a snarky, cocky, homicide detective on the police procedural television series CSI: NY. The show ran for 9 seasons and he was in all 197 episodes.

In 2014, Cahill was casted as a main character starting in the second season of the CBS drama Under the Dome. He played Sam Verdreaux, a former EMT and reclusive brother-in-law to "Big Jim" Rennie. The show was canceled after three seasons.

In 2016, he was casted as the male lead role in the ABC legal drama Conviction. He played Conner Wallace, a New York District Attorney. The show was canceled after one season. Recently, in 2019, he played a charismatic character in a three part story-arc on the CBS action crime drama NCIS: New Orleans.

Personal life[]

On July 12, 2009, Cahill married his long time girlfriend, Nikki Uberti, a makeup artist, and former model. They have one son, Henry, who was born in 2009.

Cahill is an avid New York Rangers hockey fan and wrote an NHL Celeb Blog for three seasons.
