In Season 2 of Friends, Joey moved into a new apartment during his stint on "Days of Our Lives," previously rented by a coworker who was moving out. He lived in an uptown high-rise with a view of Central Park, in an apartment numbered 22G, with new expensive furniture purchased from stores called Porcelain Safari (including Pat the Dog), I Love Lucite, and Isn't It Chromantic, as well as a phone inside the bathroom, behind the toilet. After Joey was fired, he returns to his old apartment with Chandler in The One Where Eddie Won't Go. Having never been fired from Days of our Lives, Joey also lived in this apartment during The One That Could Have Been, Part 1 and The One That Could Have Been, Part 2.
