Hi! I'm Cara, and I know what you're thinking: Oh, you're just some weirdo obsessed with Victorious. Well, I'm wayy too old to be watching that show, so I'm not as old as you think. Anyways, I would love to be on this Wiki, and I will go on it every day. I will check. I hope to become an admin! Anyways, I love "Friends", and I wish it was still on. I wish Phoebe and Joey got together. They were so close but they didn't. I know this Wiki isn't very active, (on the Wikis I go on, the recent activity is like, 2 edits each minute. It's very busy) but I hope you respond whenever you get a chance! Bye! :)
That's great! It's sad Phoebe and Joey didn't make it indeed. It would've been a perfect ending, with all six Friends together... This wiki indeed isn't very active, but you can try to make it a bit more active ;-) Cheers!
I have a podcast that is doing a Friends rewatch, starting from the Season 1. We are just about to finish the first season. It is called The One With Podcast, and the easiest way to find it is in iTunes by searching : josh, Melissa, podcast. The picture of the coffe cup is us.
I wanted to thank you for this site (which I see you admin) because we use it as a refrence from time to time.
My question is this, I have never contributed to a site like this, what content are you looking for? Only episode summaries? Amusing Friends related thoughts? Or perhaps, not really looking for content.
You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org, and thanks again for this site.
Actually, we value about everything Friends-related here, as long as you can check it with facts (mainly the show itself). Episode summaries, interesting trivia, amusing thoughts, everything is welcome.
But I still think that Ross becomes jealous of Gunther in 'The Last One' after Gunther tells Rachel he loves her. Ross becomes shocked and when Gunther finishes his talking, it looks like Ross is looking disgustedly at him (his jealousy should be inside him) and blocking Gunther's page is not a good idea.
Even if you are correct, there's no objective proof. It's mainly based on assumption and facereading, in a (for Friends) quite subtle scene. In other scenes where things like this were implied, they show a lot more emotion on their faces.
The way you stated it (which possibly makes Ross become jealous of Gunther for the first time and for eternity., and especially the initial sentence It is also strongly possible that when Ross hears and sees Gunther tell Rachel he loves her, Ross becomes extremely jealous of Gunther for the first time and forever and would also show invisible hatred towards him.) was a lot too strong wording for what actually happens. While the proof for Ross becoming jealous of Gunther is dubious (but at least there is something in the show that might indicate it), there is no proof at all for the eternal jealousy and Ross showing invisible hatred.
You kept adding it back, without responding to my message on your message wall. I was actually ok with a sentence like 'which possibly makes Ross become jealous of Gunther.', but you added the strong wording again and again without any discussion.
That kind of forced me to protect the page... I'm happy to talk about it, but please respond to my messages then, instead of just adding it back.
I'm sorry if I do that, but Gunther is a character in the show whom I don't like at all because he tries to break up Ross and Rachel and they're my favorite TV couple and I need to tell you that I have a constant feeling that he became jealous of Gunther the same way he was of Mark and the show creators decided to make that a little something to break all the troubles that began with Ross and Rachel in "TOW The Morning After" because it's Gunther's fault and the creators decided to keep it a secret.
So I constantly hope that Ross does bad things to Gunther without him knowing. Maybe I could try to not make the words so strong, but I love it when bad things happen to Gunther.
Well, I wholeheartedly agree with you about Gunter, Ross and Rachel, but this is a wiki. We list *facts* here, and (in articles) not our feelings about couples and characters. We can't list things here that the creators decided to keep a secret, as that's just guesswork. Whether you love what happens is not relevant for the articles here.
