Shelley Berman played Mr. Kaplan Jr., Rachel's boss when she starts work at Fortunata Fashions in "The One Where Rachel Quits".
Shelley Berman (February 3rd, 1925 - September 1st, 2017) was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was an actor, comedian, writer, teacher and poet. He earned the first Grammy for spoken comedy in 1959. In 2008 he received an Emmy nomination for Curb Your Enthusiasm where he played Larry David's father. Among his many TV and film credits were Bewitched, Boston Legal and Meet the Fockers which co-starred Ben Stiller who appears later in the season as Tommy, Rachel's date, in "The One With The Screamer".
