Susan Bunch is the lesbian life-partner and eventual wife of Carol Willick. She is played by Jessica Hecht.

Susan is a vegetarian as stated in "The One With The Dozen Lasagnas". Susan and Carol had an affair while Carol was married to Ross. Ross and Susan didn't get along well. Ross resented Susan for "stealing" Carol away from him; Susan resented Ross for his romantic history with Carol as well as his awkward behavior around her.
Susan's father appears to be in the military and both her parents seem very supportive and accepting of her relationship with Carol. In "The One With The Birth", it emerges that Susan is frustrated by the fact that there is no official place for her in Ben's life - "Where do I fit in? There's Mother's Day, there's Father's Day... There's no Lesbian Lover Day!", to which Ross retorts "Every day is Lesbian Lover Day!" Following her wedding to Carol, Ross and Susan seem to be on better terms, as it was Ross who gave Carol the support necessary to go through with the wedding even though her parents refused to show up.
Her final appearance was in the alternate reality episode of Season 6 where it is implied that no matter what, Carol and Susan were destined to be together (a recurring theme throughout the episode).
