For the first seasons, Ross works at the Museum of Natural History. He is one of the paleontologists there. In The One With Phoebe's Uterus, it is shown that Joey also works here, as a tour guide. In The One With Ross' Sandwich, Ross has to quit because he gets really mad at his boss when he ate his sandwich.he soon gets his own office in series 3 in the one with the jealously and a kitchen later carries a brief case filled with fossil's in series 2 and is sometimes seen wearing a white coat
