[edit] Plot
It's Rachel's 30th birthday and she is freaking out about turning 30 and still not being married. In a series of flashbacks, the friends all reflect on how they spent their 30th birthdays. Joey cries over turning 30 and growing old, as well as over Chandler turning 30. Phoebe's twin sister tells her that they're not actually turning 30, they're turning 31, leaving Phoebe very upset. Ross buys a sports car as a sort of mid-life crisis, but two cars block him in and the friends struggle to get it out of the parking spot. Monica shows up extremely drunk to her own 30th surprise party and attempts to cover it up in front of her parents. In Rachel's reflections she comes up with a plan about when she should have her first child, be married, etc and realizes that according to her plan she should already be with the guy she is going to marry. Rachel breaks up with Tag in realizing that he is not that guy.
