[edit] Plot
Monica has decided she needs a project to help her get over Richard, so she makes tons of jam. When she realizes she's spending more than she can potentially make selling the jam, she comes up with a new plan. She wants to go to the sperm bank and have a baby. Everyone tells her she's crazy but in the end they try to be supportive. Joey talks about how he always pictures her family, complete with a husband and a big house, and she realizes she doesn't want a child this way.
Chandler comes to Ross and Rachel with a problem about his girlfriend Janice. When he receives advice about his first problem (accidentally calling Janice fat) he asks what the right way to tell Janice that he can't cuddle with her all night, he needs room to sleep. Rachel insists that she and Ross are "cuddly sleepers," and then has to leave for work. Once Rachel is gone, Ross admits that he needs room too, and teaches Chandler his "hug and roll" trick to get her to her side of the bed once she's asleep. Chandler tries this with Janice and accidentally spins her off the bed, ending in Janice with a broken wrist. Janice then tells Rachel how it happened and she finds out about Ross's trick. Phoebe has been being stalked by a guy for weeks, only to find out he thought he was stalking her twin sister Ursula. They end up dating and Phoebe gets mad when she finds out that he's still stalking Ursula because he couldn't stop. By the end of the episode he has started stalking Phoebe.

[edit] Trivia
[edit] General
- Joey hurting his arm was not originally part of this episode, but Matt LeBlanc dislocated his shoulder while filming, and the injury was written in.
- Chandler mentions the girl from the xerox place in this episode (the second time he had done so), again foreshadowing Ross and Rachel's break up.
- Matt LeBlanc and David Arquette were both in The Killing Box, a 1993 horror movie.
- Courteney Cox and David Arquette were both in the Scream series, 3000 Miles to Graceland, The Shrink Is In, and The Tripper.
- David Arquette( Malcolm) was actually Courtney Cox´s boyfriend at the time the episode aired.
[edit] Goofs
- About five minutes into the episode during a conversation between Chandler, Ross, and Rachel in the girls' apartment, a shadow can be seen passing behind the closet door in the back. This happens while the three friends are the only ones in the apartment, meaning that someone else was walking by backstage.
- When Phoebe is talking to Malcolm for the first time, her hands constantly move places, whenever the shot changes, with no time to do so.
- In the scene where Ross tells Rachel that they are alone in the apartment, while he is leading her into the living room, the crew lights are visible at the top of the screen.
- In the scene where Malcolm is talking to Phoebe in the subway, you can hear him but his lips aren't moving.
- In the tag scene when Ross hits Chandler with his rolled up magazine, he only folds over one-third of the magazine. When it cuts to him hitting Chandler the magazine is fully folded over.
